- Chew a piece of cinnamon (dalchini) put in betel leaf (paan ka patta).
- Boil some cinnamon in a cup of water. Store it in a clean bottle and use it as a mouthwash.
- Chew some parsley leaves for fresh breath.
- Chew some cardamom (ilaichi) seeds to sweeten your breath.
- Gargle with a decoction of parsley and clove buds frequently.
